The MISA cohort includes data for 550 mother-child pairs and samples from Nordland, Tromsoe and Finnmark including blood from mother and umbilical cord, capillary blood from day 3, meconium, hair and breast milk. All pregnant women were invited to participate over the 2 years of sampling resulting in a participation rate of 70%. The birth database gives the possibility to include a follow up of the child.
